We're opening a program for people who benchmark AI models/agents on X

If you produce benchmark videos comparing model performance, you can now earn money for featuring AI/ML API in them.

Why we're doing this

Independent benchmarks are how most developers actually decide which model to use. They carry more weight than any claim we could make ourselves. Rather than run that testing in-house and present the conclusions, we'd rather support the people already doing the work in public and reach their audiences directly.

The program is built around that principle. We don't script your commentary or ask you to adjust your results. You run your benchmarks and publish your findings; we pay for the placement and the reach.

How it works

Add the AI/ML API logo (you can download it from our brand kit) to your benchmark video, keep it visible for the full length of the clip, and tag @aimlapi in the post. Once the post reaches at least 5,000 views by day 5, you submit it and we pay out based on the view count.

Payouts

Payment is a flat rate per post, based on views measured on day 5:

• 5K – 10K views: $15
• 10K – 30K views: $40
• 30K – 75K views: $90
• 75K – 150K views: $175
• 150K – 400K views: $300
• 400K+ views: $500

There is no cap on the number of posts you can submit.

Rules

1. The AI/ML API logo must remain visible throughout the entire video, clearly readable and not obscured by other elements. The post must tag @aimlapi in its text, and the mention must be positive in context.
2. Paid X boosts are not permitted. Before payout, we may request proof that the post was not boosted, such as a screenshot of your native post analytics.
3. A post that mentions @aimlapi in a negative context is not eligible for payment, regardless of view count.
4. A violation of any rule may result in permanent removal from the program.
5. The post must be marked as a paid partnership using X's native paid partnership label. Posts without this label are not eligible.
6. Ambassadors who have received at least one payout (i.e. official program participants) are eligible to request a discount promo code for purchasing AI/ML API to create their benchmarks.
7. The program applies only to posts on X (twitter.com / x.com). Content on other platforms does not qualify.
8. The AI/ML API team reserves the right to close the program or change the terms at any time. Posts published after the closing date will not be paid.

Payouts require original content — reposts or re-uploads of older videos do not qualify — with a minimum of 5,000 views on day 5. Each post is eligible for one payout.
